The new destination at 4315 W. Mountain View Drive features a rustic indoor taproom, a creekside beer garden, a miniature golf course, and an artisan ice cream shop on an 8-acre wooded property.
A Former Fore Scoops Location Reimagined
The property on West Mountain View Drive in Lehigh Township previously housed Fore Scoops, a seasonal ice cream shop and miniature golf venue that closed in 2024 after four years of operation. Fred and Annette Pompa, the husband-and-wife team behind Taylor House Brewing, purchased the 8-acre site in late 2024 and spent roughly a year converting it into a multi-attraction hospitality destination.
The Pompas retained the miniature golf course from the prior operation, which now pairs with the new taproom and beer garden to offer a fuller range of activities for visitors. Beers at Hidden Creek are brewed at the original Catasauqua facility and served at the new taproom, keeping production centralized while expanding the customer-facing footprint.
What Visitors Can Expect
The Hidden Creek venue is designed as an all-ages gathering spot. The creekside beer garden features fire pits, outdoor games, and seating along a tributary that runs through the wooded property, giving the venue a nature-focused character distinct from the original Catasauqua taproom. An artisan ice cream shop offers hard ice cream and soft serve that can be paired with Taylor House beers, wines, or spirits.
Live music has also been incorporated into the programming at Hidden Creek, making it a potential evening destination in addition to a daytime or weekend family outing. The family-friendly mix of golf, ice cream, outdoor seating, and craft beer positions Hidden Creek as an experience venue rather than a standard taproom.
