About LehighValley.com
Independent local reporting for the Lehigh Valley.
Our Mission
LehighValley.com is an independent, community-focused publication dedicated to telling the stories of the Lehigh Valley with clarity, context, and care.
We believe local news should be transparent, accessible, and rooted in the communities it serves — not driven by distant ownership, shrinking newsrooms, or one-size-fits-all coverage.
How We're Different
While traditional news organizations often operate at scale, LehighValley.com is built locally and shaped by the people who live and work here.
Our approach prioritizes:
- Clear sourcing and context. We explain where information comes from and why it matters.
- Community contributions and lived experience. Local voices help shape our coverage.
- Coverage that reflects everyday life, not just headlines. We tell the full story of the region.
- Accountability through openness and feedback. We listen, correct, and improve.
Who We Are
LehighValley.com is produced by a small team of local editors, writers, photographers, and contributors who care deeply about the region.
In addition to our core team, we collaborate with community members who submit story ideas, photos, and tips that help shape our coverage.
Transparency & Accountability
We welcome corrections, feedback, and story ideas from our readers.
If something needs clarification or correction, we take it seriously and address it openly.
You can reach us through our Corrections & Feedback page, or send a news tip if you have information that matters to the community.
Our goal is simple: to create a more open, informed, and connected Lehigh Valley...one story at a time.
