The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will temporarily rebrand as the “Lehigh Valley Pitties” for one night only on Tuesday, Aug. 11, when they host the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown at 6:45 p.m. as part of Duke’s Delites Dog Adoption Night, an event designed to connect fans with local shelters and raise money for animal rescue.
A One-Night Rebrand With Custom Gear

For the promotion, the team will wear special jerseys featuring “Pitties” as the wordmark and a Pittie face logo on the chest, complete with a smiling mouth, dangling tongue and flopped ears. Matching custom caps carry the same design. After the final out, IronPigs Charities will auction the game-worn jerseys and raffle the caps, with proceeds split between the organization and Pals for Life, a Lehigh Valley-based animal rescue nonprofit.
Dogs on the Concourse
All dogs and their owners are welcome at the park for the evening, not just pitties. Multiple dog rescue and adoption agencies will set up on the Coca-Cola Park concourse throughout the game, giving fans the chance to meet animals available for adoption. Tail Waggin’ Day is presented by Abby Road Veterinary Hospital.
Live entertainment inside the park will include two touring dog acts: “Mutts Gone Nuts,” an acrobatic canine performance group, and “Casey the Bat Dog,” a golden retriever known for retrieving bats on baseball fields at professional and collegiate stadiums across the country.
Giveaway and How to Attend
The first 1,500 adults ages 18 and older through the gates will receive a complimentary collapsible dog bowl while supplies last. First pitch is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. Tickets are available through the team’s website and at the Coca-Cola Park box office. The ballpark is located at 1050 IronPigs Way in Allentown.
The “Piggies to Pitties” promotion continues a long IronPigs tradition of themed single-game alternate identities that highlight local causes and community partners throughout the season.
