When Warren and Derrick Clark, the co-founders of home furnishings retailer Domaci, acquired the Easton Antique Emporium space at 20 South 3rd Street, they had a vision that went beyond antiques. They wanted to create something inspired by the European outdoor markets they loved, a curated shopping experience that felt like a neighborhood rather than a store. They named it Belleville Market after the Paris neighborhood known for its diverse, creative energy.
40 Plus Merchants Under One Roof
Belleville Market opened in 2023 with over 40 independently owned, creative based small businesses. Many of the Emporium's original vintage and antique vendors stayed on, joined by two dozen new merchants specializing in handmade pottery, locally sourced foodstuffs, artisan goods, and one of a kind finds. Vendors include Rascal Salvage Vintage, Seasons Olive Oil, Domaci, and Cottage and Bloom.
The layout encourages wandering. You can start with vintage furniture, drift into a section of handmade ceramics, sample local olive oils, and end up with a bag full of things you did not know you needed. That is the Belleville experience.
Part of Easton's Reinvention
Belleville Market did not arrive in a vacuum. Downtown Easton has been on an upward trajectory for years, driven by the Easton Public Market, the State Theatre, new restaurants, and a growing arts community. Belleville added another layer to that momentum by offering a shopping experience that you cannot find at a mall or online. The mix of vintage, artisan, and local vendors creates something that is unique to this place.
Worth the Trip
If you have not been to Belleville Market, it is worth driving across the valley for. The combination of curated vendors, the Parisian inspiration, and the downtown Easton setting makes for an afternoon of shopping that feels more like an adventure than an errand.
